Developing high proficiency in shoulder disorders takes many years of dedicated clinical practice. Mastering the Shoulder™ Series offers specialty practice skills and knowledge presented in a concise and organized series designed specifically for physiotherapists.
The MTS™ Series offers detailed instruction on many shoulder complaints, including clinical examination, diagnostic imaging and specialty MSK treatment plans.
You'll learn a range of examination skills , correct interpretation of imaging, and effective principles and protocols for many shoulder conditions. These courses are built on a foundation of over 20 years of sole clinical practice in shoulder disorders, research and multidisciplinary care.
MTS™ shoulder courses are supported by an expert multidisciplinary panel of shoulder surgeons, radiologists & sports physicians, helping deliver the best education on the world of shoulder pain, injury and performance.
Mastering the Shoulder™ Series offers physiotherapists concise and comprehensive instruction for immediate clinical use.
Certified Advanced Shoulder Practice (CASP)
Our fully revised Mastering the Shoulder™ Series offers several levels of instruction allowing physiotherapists to prioritize their area of interest. We also provide a comprehensive course structure for those physiotherapists wanting to pursue the CASP designation.
The ESSENTIAL SERIES comprises three shoulder courses covering all the essential specialty MSK knowledge for treating commonly seen shoulder disorders. Take Levels 2 & 3 in your order of preference.
The ADVANCED SERIES offers a further two courses covering more complex shoulder disorders (Level 4/CASP) and upper spine management (Level 5).
THE SPINE (Level 5), offers spinal manual therapy, stability and conditioning strategies for solving broader upper quadrant pain and complaints.
After receiving your CASP designation, you can request access to ShoulderPT, a new online platform offering regular clinical updates, instructional case studies, in-house protocols and more multidisciplinary insights. ShoulderPT connects you to specialty MSK clinicians, supporting your clinical skills and improving your patient outcomes.

Cameron Bennett is an Australian trained MSK physiotherapist, a full time clinician for 25 years, with sole practice in shoulder disorders for over 20 years. This is the third and most advanced iteration of Mastering The Shoulder™, having grown from a single course to the current five level course structure.
MTS™ Series has been designed to ensure every physiotherapist has access to specialty MSK information and training in managing shoulder disorders. The course material is based on the three key elements of specialty MSK practice:
